Montebello Resort Hotel - All Inclusive

Overall it was very good, mainly because of the location, the parking space in front of the hotel and the fact that you didn't have to think about what to eat, you took care of all your meals directly at the hotel. The beach is only a five to ten minute walk away. But the downside is that the room facilities are too old and the air conditioning is not very good, but overall it is not bad. 总体来说还是非常不错的，主要是位置好，门口有停车位，而且不用考虑吃什么，直接在酒店解决了所有用餐。距离沙滩走路只要五到10分钟的路程。但是缺点是房间的设施太老旧了空调也不是很好使，总体来说还不错吧。

We did did come to the montebello with a little trepidation due to mixed reviews but as a family for the first week then the second week just me and the wife we were very happily surprised....to start the hotel is in a great place just off the main ***** and a 10 minute walk to the lovely although pebbly beach watching the paragliders becomes kind of addictive...olu deniz is a lovely little place so friendly and welcoming with all you good want for food drinks shopping and more....now the hotel we found it clean although the pool area can get very slippy so please be careful...the food is average 3 star with a Turkish twist but we found plenty to eat and please visit the amazing pancake lady in the corner of the pool area she is lovely always smiling and they are delicious with several different fillings...our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding they are adequate and functional.....now the staff Turkish people are a very proud bunch so if you show them respect they will return it tenfold and are great but a very specia shout out has to go the the young animation team luke gamze and sima...they work tirelessly from 10am to 11pm six days a week (they get Sundays deservedly off)...I ended up calling them my adopted Turkish kids so wonderful and fun we will miss them all...all in all the montebello suited us as a family and will happily go back for more visits in the future...

The hotel was nice, never an issue getting sun loungers and shade available. Food and drink available all day, but the cups at the bar could do with replacing. Food was basic for all inclusive, but was fine. Location is brilliant, 10 minutes from the sea, and some lovely restaurants. Staff were friendly; massive shout out to Fred the photographer, who is amazing, we loved our photos. The cleaners were also lovely ladies.

My girlfriend and myself came to stay here for 7 nights and we have been mostly satisfied with our experience. The location is very good with many things to do, the beach is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel and has a range of bars, restaurants and shops along the way. The hotel itself is nice and has beautiful scenery, the rooms are adequate and the beds are comfy, the cleaner comes every day and sheets are changed every 3 days, on our last night they set our bed up all fancy with flowers and a little towel swan . The entertainment was practically non stop with them being about all day and night. Fred the photographer was an absolute delight the pictures he took were very impressive and overall he’s just a great man. The only slight downside we found was a lack of choice in food options, everyday seemed to be the exact same as before and if you’re not going to get it straight away its cold, however we (not being too fussy) always found something to eat. Gonna miss u fred - charlie :)

Come at your own risk! Arrived yesterday, first night the fire alarm went off for nearly 30 mins, no idea what was going on! Loud and noises hotel! No WiFi, no hot food either. Hot food is available BUT all COLD! Room service is every 3 days lol ! My room is really dirty full of dust! Breakfast was awful no decent options available, no fresh tea or coffee, use a machine it’s DIY. This afternoon our door key stopped working, after 5 attempts back and forth to reception, had to wait for the technician for over an hour to let us back in our room. We were asked to stay with the technician, the whole ordeal took most of the afternoon waiting for the lock to me fixed. 1 key per room regardless or many people sharing. Extra key is £20!! Oh and to use the safe it’s addiction £30. No towels provide near the pool at ALL! Can’t wait to return home!

I spent a wonderful week at this hotel, so. An honest review from a female solo traveller. There are many pros to this hotel but a few cons as well. Let’s start with checking in, I arrived around 1.30am, there were staff to greet me as I got off the transfer coach. A lovely gentleman took my bag to my room, check in was smooth and very easy. The room itself was really spacious clean and tidy the balconies are on the smaller side, but still enough room to have a table and two chairs, the view from my balcony was stunning, a combination of palm trees and a view of the pools for the swim rooms. However, the fridge in my room never worked whilst this wasn’t an issue for me it may be for other people. The main pro about this hotel is the entertainment team Luke, Bedo, Sema and Danca are all absolutely fantastic whether you want to join in with every activity or no activities. They will always make sure you are happy and comfortable in the hotel. The next pro is the pancake lady… amazing!! She works so hard always has a massive queue and makes the most amazing fresh sweet and sour pancakes. The staff are great at the pool bar, however they do need more staff on that bar as it can get very busy. The pool is always clean spacious and in actual fact quite warm probably too warm when it was nearly 40° when I was there. The cons there really isn’t enough sunbeds plus they are very close together out of days I was there I think I got a sunbed for three days. In the pool bar where they have the entertainment in the evening, they really need some big fans in there as it gets very warm sat there in the evening watching the shows. The food was hit and miss, breakfast was the biggest disappointment however, I managed to eat three meals every day plus snacks you can always find something to eat no matter how fussy you are. The freshly cooked pasta in the restaurant was delicious. Overall for the price I paid it was a fantastic stat and I will most definitely be back soon.

Booked on Monday, traveled on Tuesday. Arrived late so no bar. Unfortunately our room was about the furthest from the pool and restaurant and required a lift and 2 flights of stairs. Management were excellent and changed the room the next day. Room was fine and had a small balcony. I enjoyed the food. There was a good selection and a decent amount of very tasty vegetarian dishes. Others disagree but it was nice to see okra and green beans, salted corn, beetroot etc all available. I found the evening entertainment odd. It started every night at 9 with children's dancing to the same 5 or 6 songs. Tedious. The professional entertainment was exceptionally good but only lasted 30 minutes, so most of the evening was a bit boring. I would like to see some live Turkish musicians and perhaps some other entertainment (other than bingo). The hotel is not massive and not too small so you can get around it easily. The cleaning staff will knock and enter if you don't put up the do not disturb notice. WiFi was usually ok but could go slow at busy times. An ideal hotel for families, but for me and my wife being old I found it a bit lacking in character/atmosphere. By the way, the white wine was pretty good, I drank a lot of beer, sampled some of their cocktails, gin and tonic, extra strong Raki, all good.

The hotel itself is lovely but there’s not much food choice and it’s very repetitive, although we were all inclusive we found ourselves eating out most days. I’m glad we booked a swim up room as the beds around the main pool are literally touching and you have no space whatsoever. To use the safe in the room it’s around £30, a second room key is a further £20 and late checkout is £70, so quite expensive when the holiday itself cost over £3,000 for just two of us. If you like your sleep take ear plugs, constant banging of doors and shouting throughout the night, the ‘call for prayer’ sounds at around 04:45 am and is very loud (we’re used to this as we’ve travelled to Turkey many times but it doesn’t normally bother us). The location of the hotel is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the main ***** but far enough away from the pub noise. We enjoyed our holiday but sadly won’t return to this resort which is a shame as the swim up room was perfect.

After recently visiting the montebello can honestly say the worst hotel experience I've ever had, our first day was horrendous which set the tone of our holiday I wanted to leave but my fiancee talked me into giving it time which we did. The bar staff were rude and not far off nasty which ended in me having two big arguments which I should not be doing on a couples holiday me and my fiancee just wanted to relax which this is not the place, the bar smells and is dirty and make up there own rules as they go it's such a shame as our room and cleaning of the room was fine just got the feeling all they want is your money not you, oh and come eleven they forcefully tell you to leave and because of this experience we will never return to Turkey and beware very disrespectful to woman but on a plus fred is an asset and too good to be at the montebello
